“Jealous Type” contained all of the Doja flair and confidence that we adore. Her changes in tone vary so much throughout this one song, and it truly shows her talent.
There’s a very Madonna aura that is projected in the fashion of the music video. The luxurious clothing, cars, and movements are such a nod to the eighties. Her shift in the second verse, when she starts rapping, is probably the best part of the song and really tied it all together.
