This has to be one of the most significant contrasts in the album. We, as listeners, hear familiar ties to other very popular pop icons throughout. We figured this is one of Swift’s hidden secret meanings, which I’m sure we will find out more about as time goes on.
“The Fate of Opphelia,” being the first song on the track, contains this very intoxicating beat throughout the hook. The rest of the album also contains entertaining hooks, and fans also notice Swift’s vast change in her usual lyricism. Overall, Swift will always be the Showgirl of our generation. We’re curious to hear what comes after this album.
